Thank You PARK(ing) Day 2009 Participants!

Thank you participants!
PD09 was the biggest year yet! More than 700 PARKs on every continent except Antarctica.
Click here for the detailed list of cities.

Rebar wishes to thank the thousands of dedicated and passionate citizens, artists, designers and advocates who make this project a reality every year. PARK(ing) Day 2009 was the largest, most conceptually interesting year, by far, in the five year history of this event.

And although the raw numbers are certainly compelling, we urge you to have a look at the photos of PARK installations from around the world. The images reveal the extraordinary critical, aesthetic and programmatic diversity of this global experiment in dynamic spatial remixing.

Mark your calendars: PARK(ing) Day 2010 is Friday, September 17th
